Lenoir Community College is rich in history and is one of the oldest institutions in the Great 58 colleges in North Carolina Community College System. Chartered April 3, 1958, the College is located at the intersection of highways US 70 and NC 58 in Kinston. Its primary service area is Lenoir, Greene, and Jones counties. Offering both degree and non-degree programs, the College is committed to quality education and student success. LCC serves more than 3,000 curriculum students and more than 7,000 continuing education students annually, and offers 43 associate degree programs, 18 diploma programs, and 64 certificate programs and four Career and College Promise Pathways. As a world-class community college, the College continues to expand its programs and services to meet the needs of the citizens it serves.
