Founded in 1961, Fayetteville Technical Community College serves more than 30,000 students annually on its campuses in Fayetteville and Spring Lake and at six other locations in Cumberland County, including on Fort Liberty. FTCC offers in-person, online and hybrid programs in a wide variety of academic and continuing education fields. Students can earn associate degrees, diplomas, certificates and non-degree credentials to move into or upward in the workforce or to transfer to a 4-year institution. FTCC has a highly diversified student body, ranging from high school and traditional college-age students to working adults seeking to better their lives. The College has numerous innovative training programs, as well as a vibrant Student Activities program and a 5-sport athletics program. Specialized services include the All American Veterans Center for military-connected students, including active-duty service members, veterans and family members and success coaches and support for all students.
