Located on Bogue Sound in Morehead City, Carteret Community College was founded in 1963 to serve Carteret County as the primary gateway to higher education and technical training opportunities. Their mission is to serve and empower our students and coastal community by providing high-quality education, workforce training, and lifelong enrichment in an innovative and inclusive learning environment. With more than 90 associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates available, we provide flexible, accelerated learning opportunities and real-world experiences to help students complete their education on-time and graduate workforce-ready. Programs unique to Carteret CC include Aquaculture, Boat Manufacturing, Marine Propulsion, and Photography. We also offer short-term, non-degree programs in healthcare, culinary arts, public safety, transportation, marine and skilled trades, and many more. At CarteretCC there’s something for everyone and we pride ourselves on offering an extraordinary learning experience that puts every student on their path to success.
