State Board of Community Colleges to Meet at Catawba Valley Community College for its Annual Planning Session and Meeting

RALEIGH – The State Board of Community Colleges will meet at Catawba Valley Community College(CVCC) for its annual strategic planning session and regularly scheduled meeting October 18-20, 2017.  The planning session begins Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Manufacturing Solutions Center in Conover.  The Manufacturing Solutions Center, is a non-profit organization and a division of CVCC, whose mission is to improve, develop and create.

On Thursday at 8 a.m., the Board’s planning session continues with presentations from teams connected to the development of the new strategic plan.  Committees of the State Board of Community Colleges will meet Thursday afternoon at CVCC’s Cuyler A. Dunbar Building, located on the main campus at 2550 Highway 70 SE, Hickory, NC.

The full Board will convene Friday, October 20 at 9 a.m. at CVCC’s Corporate Development Center, 2664 Highway 70 E, Hickory, NC. All meetings are open to the public.
