State Board of Community Colleges to Meet

RALEIGH – The State Board of Community Colleges will hold its regularly scheduled meeting, Thursday and Friday, November 20-21, 2014.

The Board will convene Thursday at 12 p.m. to hear a presentation on the Math Curriculum Improvement Project, a two-year restructuring and streamlining of the NC Community Colleges math curriculum.

Committee meetings begin at 1:30 p.m.  The Policy Committee will review, for information, the non-budget legislative priorities for the 2015-16 Legislative Session.  The Finance Committee will take action on the budget priorities for the 2015-16 Legislative Session.  The Programs Committee will review, for information, the Annual Curriculum Program Approval/Termination Report that is submitted to the General Assembly.

The full Board will convene Friday at 9 a.m.  All meetings are open to the public and will take place at the NC Community College System Office, 200 W. Jones Street in Raleigh.
