State Board of Community Colleges to hold annual planning session, meeting Oct. 17-19 in Thomasville

RALEIGH – The State Board of Community Colleges will conduct its annual strategic planning session and regularly scheduled meeting Oct. 17-19 at Davidson County Community College, 297 DCC Road in Thomasville.

The schedule is as follows:

• Oct. 17, Smith Health Sciences Center
  • 9 a.m. – Board Governance Committee.
  • 10 a.m. – Personnel Committee.
  • 10 a.m. – Multi-Campus Funding Study Committee.
  • 11 a.m. – Planning session.
• Oct. 18, Rittling Conference Center
  • 8:30 a.m. – Planning session.
  • Noon – DCCC President Dr. Mary Rittling will host an issues luncheon focusing on the college.
  • 1:30 p.m. – State Board committee meetings.
• Oct. 19, Rittling Conference Center
  • 9 a.m. – State Board meeting.

The meetings are open to the public. Some portions of them may be conducted in closed session, pursuant to state law.
