Robert Lachapelle, IV

I currently reside in Tarboro, North Carolina. I have attended Edgecombe Community College (ECC) for almost two-years. I have worked diligently to earn and maintain a 3.8 GPA, and I am proud of my efforts. While attending ECC, I have met some awesome students and instructors. One instructor that has helped me tremendously is my advisor, Dr. Johnica Ellis-kiser, who is also the program chair of the business department.

Choosing to attend ECC is one of my greatest decisions. ECC has outstanding instructors who genuinely care about their students. It is common knowledge that instructors at ECC want their students to succeed.

I have actively participated in different student organizations and that has helped me develop strong interpersonal skills. I was a member of the High-Altitude Balloon Club and an active member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Being a part of these organizations has been life-changing as well as a great learning experience. I thank wholeheartedly the students and instructors who have helped play a role in making me a better student and a better person.
