North Carolina Community College System Opens Applications for AEFLA Grants
The North Carolina Community College System announces its multi-year grant opportunity under the Title II Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA). The College and Career Readiness Section of NCCCS oversees these activities and the Request for Proposal (RFP) process in alignment with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title II.
Available Title II AEFLA funding includes:
- Section 231: Adult Education and Family Literacy
- Section 225: Corrections and Other Institutionalized Individuals
- Section 243: Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education
The application period for these grants runs from January 13 to March 17, 2025. Applications must be submitted by 11:59PM on March 17, 2025 using the instructions in this RFP packet.
