NCCCS President Jeff Cox’s statement on the passing of Davidson-Davie President Darrin Hartness

“Like many across our great state today, I’m mourning the passing of Davidson-Davie Community College President Dr. Darrin Hartness, a lifelong champion of education in North Carolina, an absolutely stellar community college president and a personal friend,” said North Carolina Community College System President Jeff Cox. “Dr. Hartness leaves a legacy of compassion, service, and innovation in every community he served and we honor his memory in our continued commitment to college excellence and student success.”
