NC Student Success Center Newsletter Vol 1. Issue 6
[EXCERPT] On February 12-14, the NC Student Success Center collaborated with NCCCS Career and Technical Education to host the Faculty Pathways to Learning & Success: CTE Leadership Institute. Each college was invited to nominate an outstanding instructor, and 55 faculty members participated. This first cadre of instructors will also attend a second institute in Fall 2018 and will participate in webinars and online learning to prepare for shared learning of learning strategies, including cooperative learning, authentic assessment, culturally responsive teaching, classroom assessment and research, and universal design for learning, all of which promote NC Guided Pathways to Success essential practices.
