N.C. Community College System to Hold Public Meetings in June
RALEIGH – The N.C. State Board of Community Colleges will have meetings as follows:
- System Advisory Council, June 1, 10:00 a.m. The State Board of Community Colleges created the System Advisory Council to make recommendations on issues of systemwide or inter-college importance. The council consists of 14 members, including State Board members, community college trustees and presidents, and a student. The president of the N.C. Community College System serves as a non-voting member, except in the case of a tie.
- Accountability and Audit Committee, June 7, 10:00 a.m. The Accountability and Audit Committee is a standing committee of the State Board of Community Colleges (NCSBCC). View agenda.
The meetings will be virtual and are open to the public, however some portions may be conducted in closed session, pursuant to N.C. State law. The meetings will be livestreamed on the N.C. Community College System Office YouTube channel.
