Estefani Cota
Estefani is an extraordinarily gifted student and an outstanding member of the school and local community. Estefani participated in the 2018 Summer Biomedical Research Program at ECU, conducting research on skin cancer. Not only is Estefani a gifted math and science student, but she also succeeds in other areas across the curriculum and is a member of the WCC Honors Program.
On top of her academic accomplishments, Estefani is an active leader at school and in the community. She serves as a Student Ambassador, Vice president of the Honors Club, and is the SGA Representative for both the LGBT Clun and Math Club. Off campus, she has volunteered at Habitat for Humanity, the Ronald McDonald House, and the Boys and Girls Club. Estefani was the first person in her family to learn to speak English and first to graduate from high school and college. Her goal is to serve her community as a physician.
