Christiana L. Deloach

Afraid of failing is what bother Christiana L. Deloach when she enrolled at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.  However, she decided that she wanted to succeed more than anything.  With her goals in mind, she new that the best things in life are the things she would have to work hard for and achieve on her own. 

Deloach had to deal with obstacles along the way getting her education.  She learned how to keep going in the face of adversity.  This for her was a challenging assignment because there were many personal struggles.  Deloach learned how to be persistent and did not let an obstacle become a well. Becoming organized also help Deloach to become successful. This meant organizing her life, time, creating an assignment calendar, utilizing to-do lists.  Being organized helped alleviate the stress that she felt at times.  The key to success is hard work and determination
