This presentation serves as a concise yet comprehensive introduction to the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI), with a special focus on Large Language Models (LLMs), in the realm of higher education.

Designed for faculty and staff of community colleges, the session aims to demystify the complex world of AI and make it accessible and applicable in everyday educational settings. Participants will have ample opportunities to engage in interactive discussions, ask questions, and gain hands-on experience. The session will showcase real-world examples of AI applications in the classroom, from automating administrative tasks to enhancing student engagement. One of the highlights of this presentation is an introduction to ‘prompt writing.’ By the end of this session, participants will not only have a foundational understanding of AI but also practical insights into leveraging it for educational excellence and experiences.
