Join us for a hands-on workshop designed to explore and learn how to integrate Artificial Intelligence into a course or department. We’ll delve into the dual challenges of AI: rethinking assignment designs and promoting genuine intellectual engagement over reliance on AI tools. The solutions require us to consider how to enhance traditional teaching methodologies, deepen student engagement, and equip learners with critical skills for a rapidly changing job market.  We’ll center this workshop with a team-based AI Design Sprint where participants will select and plan an AI integration project, outline steps for practical implementation and create a conceptual or physical prototype.

We’ll end with a robust share out that showcases your AI solutions and collectively reflect on the broader implications for education including potential challenges and consider continuous adaptation strategies.

Come prepared to collaborate and explore AI integration tools by experimenting with ChatGPT 4o (the free version) for a few minutes. Consider practicing with it by tackling a specific problem or brainstorming solutions for common challenges in your teaching or administrative duties.
