Description: Many students come to Title II programs as a result of barriers that have kept them from progress they are capable of making. George Washington Carver once said that “education is the key to unlocking the golden door of freedom”. While that remains true, what unlocks the door making education accessible to our students? This session will affirm to Title II professionals the need for advising and offer practical strategies for making that happen.
