CPL can be used as a recruiting tool. In the Attracting Adult Learners With Credit for Prior Learning report, CAEL’s research shares that eighty-four percent of likely-to-enroll prospective learners stated the ability to receive college credit for their life and work experiences could influence their choice of an institution. That number decreases to 55%, still a relatively strong number, among those slightly- or moderately-likely to enroll.
