College Budget & Accounting System

In 2009, the College State Aid section of the Finance and Operations division began utilizing the College Budgeting and Accounting System (CBAS). Currently, all colleges use this system to transmit cash certification requests.

The System Office is responsible for approving user IDs and passwords. New users requesting CBAS access must complete an online request in ServiceNow and have it approved by their supervisor. Approved requests are routed via ServiceNow to Systems Accounting for approval and processing by System Office IT. A member of the System Office IT team will contact new users to provide them with their User ID and temporary password. 

Users that need their password reset must initiate a ServiceNow ticket using their ServiceNow ID.

Please note that the System Office requires all CBAS users and their approving managers to have a ServiceNow account before processing CBAS access requests and changes. Detailed instructions are included in the attachment below.
