On April 4, 2025, the State Board of Community Colleges voted to repeal the State Board Code, 1A SBCCC Subchapter 400 –  Appeal Process for Award of the North Carolina Title II Adult Education and Family Literacy Act Fiscal Years 2018-2021 Competitive Grants. The repeal will eliminate potential confusion on the subchapter’s enforceability and ensure the SBCCC’s regulatory framework reflecting current and active rules.

The amendment will be effective May 1, 2025. At that time, the repeal of the subchapter rule will be published on the North Carolina Community College System’s website, State Board Code – NCCCS (nccommunitycolleges.edu).  For your convenience, a copy of the rule in its final form is attached to this memorandum.
