RE: FY 2020-21 Compliance Services College Assignments and Compliance Review Procedures
The information listed below outlines the major components of the reviews to be conducted during FY 2020-21. This numbered memo supersedes CC19-052, which included procedures for FY 2019-20. The reviews scheduled for FY 2019-20 were paused due to the pandemic and were not completed until December 2020. Therefore, this memo and the compliance reviews scheduled for FY 2020-21 were delayed. Attachment A provides a listing of colleges scheduled for a compliance review in FY 2020-21. Attachment B provides detailed procedures which will be followed during the FY 2020-21 review cycle. Compliance examiners function in a coaching, consultative, and proactive manner. Examiners are available to assist college staff with implementation of the laws, policies, procedures, guidelines, and reporting requirements as they apply to the compliance review process.
