SUBJECT: Amendment of 1G SBCCC 200.93 Reporting of Student Hours in Membership for Curriculum Classes

On April 22, 2022, the State Board of Community Colleges (“SBCC”) voted to amend State Board Code,1G SBCCC 200.93 – Reporting of Student Hours in Membership for Curriculum Classes. The amendment modifies the rule on reporting of student membership hours in curriculum classes to allow for Hybrid Flexible (HyFlex) instruction in those classes.
The adoption will be effective May 1, 2022. The new rule will be published in the NC Community College System’s website, www.nccommunitycolleges.edu/sbcccode. For your convenience, a copy of the rule in its final form is attached to this memorandum.
