- A fun fact about you? At my first job, I shadowed my grandfather who was a plumber and knows the trade! I played basketball in my youth and was the first African American mayor of my town and the first ED of his nonprofit organization. I started the “Trip Program,” a grant-funded initiative to connect disadvantaged populations to healthcare and other health-related access, including grocery, exercise, retail, and education, including community colleges. – became a state model.
